the new build begins, though only engine is out of car at mo:( this is not a quick fix, theres a lot of work to be done, hopefully it will be high horses but full spec has been on going for a few months now, will update as and when i know more and when full spec is finalised:)

Still without a car? i haven't been on here in months n months and your engine still has not been built. I'd find another builder if i was you

Put up some pics of this ever evolving monster. What turbo are you on now then?

car only went in a few weeks ago:) originally i was just having an engine transplan,t now its a major build with a lot of fabrication work to be done as some things are going on it thats not been done on a road car by this tuner, only thing for definate so far is twinplate clutch will be swapped for a tripple, uprated driveshafts, cosworth cams, billet crank, 2.3 build, rotated turbo though not sure which one yet, it will be the biggest one that can phisically fit so its going to be around a 35 size, some things i havent mentioned yet as i have to decide if its really viable on a road car, as you may know builds of this calibre can and no doubt will have problems that will need to be overcome and is not a 5 minute build, what im not going to do is what some on sn do and say its going to produce x amount of power then only to fall 100 short, all i will say is a+b "should"= c, as for budget whatever it needs it will get as its only being done once!

Re: at last

1st problem is heads are cracked, saw enginetuners thread on sn, so spoke to tuners and told me the news, problem is sorted as new ones will be used, just trying to find out if there are stronger versions:)

Re: at last

I would have repaired the extg heads and had them flowed & ported.

Be cheaper than new heads.

Re: at last

for road use its gonna be a pig with that turbo, as far as never done on a road car before, mm shall see, i have serious doubts about that lol theres very little that hasn;t been done, those that arn't on road cars arn't worth the cost, but may be ont he track cars, like rad int he boot witht he water flowing through the roll cage.

good luck with it,. let us knwo how you get on

Re: at last

tidgy, thats "never done on a road car" by my tuner ;) didnt mean it to sound that nobody had done it before, as for a "pig on the road" nobody knows yet,

Re: at last

bit of an update, turbo is not available as we speak, also there may be some minor "flaws" so at the worst rate "bolt on" turbo will be staying on:rolleyes
