Talking My Old Ek Civic

It started life as a standard 1.4 Civic and i had a bit of work done to it. Spec list as follows

b16a2 engine conversion (professionally fitted) - before it was fitted, it had a major service including new water pump, tensioner, timing belt, piston rings, valve stem oil seals, head gasket
exedy stage 1 clutch
exedy lightened flywheel
integra dc2 airbox
integra dc2 koyo radiator
dc2 gear linkage
hel braided clutch line (carbon look)
innovative billet engine mounts 60a
k&n integra drop-in filter
thermal intake gaskets
skunk2 inlet manifold
magnecor kv85 leads
buddyclub spec 3 cat back (heat wrapped) (2.5 system diameter)
tegiwa decat (2.5 diameter)
5zigen 4-2-1 manifold (heat wrapped) (2.5 diameter)
blox lower control arms
meisterr zeta-s coilovers
buddyclub p1 front camber arms
buddyclub p1 rear camber arms
powerflex poly bushes in rear trailing arms
96 spec dc2 jdm full brake conversion (including hubs)
hel braided brake lines (carbon look)
96 spec dc2 jdm genuine rims
red locking nuts
kenwood head unit
plenty of security to, including toad cat 1 alarm

Was suprisingly quick for a we 1.4 civic with some alloy wheels lol

Re: My Old Ek Civic

Both very nice looking Civics. Always liked the Type R's myself and the Integra's but never owned one

Re: My Old Ek Civic

Wonder how many people on here went from Vtec power to Scooby. I needed more room and couldn't afford a jap spec FD2 civic which is why I ended up with a scoob.

Wow thats some collection of Honda's you've owned. I wanted a dc2 but couldnt insure one until i turned 21, when i could also insure an impreza...so ill never own a dc2 now lol. Vtec is great fun though

Vtec is great up to a point. Sounds like your flying when you rev hard and it can just take a trashing without having to worry. I do miss my old civic a lot, spent a clean fortune on it but the Impreza is in a different league

zed_sti - your civic looked very well!

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone
