I know of 2 scoobs that have been stolen locally... same thing, as one, house broken into, keys stolen....

This may sound silly, but I was recommended to take keys to bed and put them under the pillow, believe you me, that would be a good deterant to see me in the middle of the night......

Hi m8, i keep an iron bar (*cooker handle if anyone asks  ) next to me at all times... im unsure of the blackjax cost but what i do know is it requires a code to be entered everytime the car is started.

I also think that our car can do this through the immobilser but you may need to contact subaru to set it up... basically you would need to type in the code everytime the car is started.... Maybe worth a phone call to the dealer? I would be interested in the answer too...

There are options as listed for future use. 1,3,6 & 7
I know 6 is chirps off and 7 is chirps on

1 & 3 are not assigned... I seem to remember my dealer saying something about an imobiliser code, so hopefully it is one of the spare options??????????

Ok page 12 of the alarm manual says:

"Super lock " works byignoring all radio transmitters.
Once "SL" has been enabled, ONLY when the pin code is entered into the keypad will the security system disarm. There ia of course a little inconvenience when you disarm the security system yourself, because you must first trigger it in order to gain access to the keypad. However "SL" does offer a very high level of security to your vehicle whilst your radio transmitter is not in your posession.
To enable "SL" turn on the vehicles ignition, give the radio transmitter button a quick press, type"9" on the keypad and immediatly turn off the ignition.

Arming the security system after enabling "SL"
After enbling "SL" you may arm the system once in the normal way using the radio transmitter.

Disarming the security system after enabling"SL"
To do this , enter the vehicle, the alarm WILL sound, TYPE IN YOUR PIN CODE on the key pad, the security system will disarm in the normal way.

All your radio transmitters will now work in the normal way.

On page 5:
You can also use the radio transmitter as a PERSONAL PANIC/SIREN by holding the button down for 5 seconds (dependant on programing) the siren will sound and the indicators will flash for a short time.

Well done Buzz....Thats really helps, all we have to do now is get in touch with Subaru to find out what the pin code is, we dont have it. Have looked all through the paperwork.
