WTB ‘99-‘01 2.5 RS Impreza Coupe (GC8) in Western Canada or

As the title states, I am currently looking for a 99-01 2.5 RS Impreza Coupe (GM6) in Western Canada (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan) and possibly in Northern States (any states that connect to the provinces listed).

I used to have a ‘01 Impreza myself, but unfortunately I got into an accident and it was written off. Now that my insurance has gone through and gotten back my money, I would like to get another one before winter sets in. Those of you who live in Alberta can understand why I would want AWD in the winter.

Otherwise, if you have a car to offer that lands in these descriptions, please include several pictures (interior, trunk, engine, exterior, etc), city, and province/state and VIN #for carfax.

I am looking for:

o A ‘stockish’ car
o 5-speed
o Would prefer a car that is in WRB or Black with the gold 5 spoke rims but I’m actually open to any color
o If the car is modded, I would like the stock parts also
o Absolutely no rust!
o No major accident history!
o With a strong engine
o Highly, Highly, wanting an Impreza with the American fog lamps (The Canadian ones are just so small)
o V5/v6 Wing, Bumpers, JDM brake lamps, JDM side markers on the head lamps ?

What I am looking for in a Modded car:

 WRX (GDB) Engine + STi 6 speed swaps
 Has stock parts available!

I am willing to drive on a weekend to check out cars with my master mechanic.


I will pay a Reasonable price (i.e. not willing to shell out 20 g’s for a rice bucket with exhaust bigger than my head). My price range is a flexible 13,000-16,000.

.org is a UK based Impreza club so I don’t think you will have much luck finding one on here
