GC8 air box duct
Hi
Does anyone have the L shaped air duct/pipe for the air box to fit a classic Impreza for sale as circled in the picture below. It must be from an Impreza as the Forester one does not fit. thanks

Re: GC8 air box duct
A google brings this up, so it may not be that expensive, I know it says 2.2, but if you go on opposed forces, it does mention the 2.2.

Re: GC8 air box duct
Yeah but that will help Import car parts find it easier, I was using the website as a demonstration of the costs, well an idea, a lot have it for $13.64, so it cant be daft money . . . can it. lol
As its plastic it would always be a gamble on a 2nd hand one, not sure if they go brittle or anything, but if the cost new isnt bad, why gamble imo.

Re: GC8 air box duct
I dont know why but I only get a notification to the first reply to my threads.
I've never had any major issues with ICP. The only issue I had was years ago when I bought a rear wheel bearing (3rd party) and they claimed it was made in the same factory as the genuine one yet it only lasted 4 months.

Re: GC8 air box duct
I asked ICP about sourcing the part and they replied that they can not supply it or get hold of one.

Re: GC8 air box duct
I just managed to order the correct part this time from ebay.
For anyone wanting to know the difference between the Impreza and the Forester parts, look at the bolt hole position. The Impreza is offset to the right whilst the Forester is centred to the pipe. See pics below.
