Very nice !!! Great piccies..... Have you thought about declaring to Insurance company---NAH!!!!
well believe me--- IF, Just IF, you had to have a body repair done, the "approved" garage may well take photos..just for the Engineers at the Insurance to approve it. The Eng may well decide to pay you a visit and check EVERY thing on your motor against the declared list that they have..... ...... Any shortcomings and they have every right to REFUSE you the work on your insurance AND demand an extra payment from you AND up your Excess !! I KNOW.... this aint scare mongering........ Just think about it guys. I have this on the best authority from an Engineer from UK Assistance Engineering which is the No1 company that all the major Ins Co's use these days. He's a Prodrive fanatic and was encouraging me to go on the "Driving4charity" day on 13th Oct. It's at Prodrive's track in Kenilworth. I suppose theres a thread about this somewhere already. Anyway-- words of wisdom from him !!!! |

Personally i wouldnt bother..................declaring the tints any slight excuse these days to extract money from you they will an to be honest in my opinion your insurance should go down with them as
A) obviously makes it harder to see stuff inside the car B)if someones gonna smash a window to gain entry they dont shatter and fall in-a bird i know had someone smash her rear window on her corsa to get her parcel shelf out with 6x9`s in, window did break but window film kept it in place ultrasonics picked up intrusion and once alarm were going off were too ****y abouty to mess about with the shattered (however still in one piece and in place) bk window an so ran off. c)besides in finland insurance co`s may not be so anal as they are here- uve no idea how much they p me off. |

never have a mod done without declaring it, especialy something as obvious as tints, alot of companies it makes no difference anymore, or if it does kick up hell till they add it for free. If, god forbid, you make a claim then first thing they'll do is say sorry your not covered and your stuffed, and arrested for driving without insurance etc. just not worth it
