It will fit OK. AFAIK
Should be OK with PPP. But do seem to remember someone saying they were getting boost spikes with a de-cat downpipe fitted to a PPP'd car.

Well thats made that a straight forward answer.......................... NOT

Nelson will know for sure

The exhaust should fit with no problems as all the classic exhausts are the same fitment.

As for the ppp I've got a full decat on my RB5 which has ppp and touch wood no probs yet

As per Neils comments Warren yes it will fit no problem.

As for gains very difficult to tell - I mean Neil has a full Decat on his PPP' RB5 and it runs fine I tried it on mine and definately had problems (not in the warm weather but during the colder months). To be honest 30BHP is a bit of an over estimation..... I mean the PPP removed the centre cat and generally a free flowing down pipe should give you about an extra 10-15BHP. Remember the Prodrive ECU has been mapped to have the d/pipe cat in place so you might need to drill out the brass restrictor - depends if you have any problems.....you'll know if you do. As I have said some owners have problems decatting a PPP classic and others don't. You'll also get a louder scoob and if all goes well with the decat etc. then the car will be a lot quicker to spool up etc.

Just another point but does the replacement Decat down pipe have an open neck or twin dump/exit design ?

Standard power figures quoted by Prodrive for the Classic PPP

Power - 238BHP / 255 ft/lb torque

I had my scoob on the Rollers with a Full decat

Power - 252BHP / 261 ft/lb torque.

The tuning guy was quite impressed by the stable power curve too - it made for a good power delivery. Oh yea and I had the open neck Scoobysport Decat Down Pipe

OK Mate - horses for courses I'm afraid but what I will say is I had serious over boost when I first fitted the twin dump - so much so I took it off and sold it.

I then bought the open neck d/pipe and originally in the warmer conditions had no problems at all. The open neck is widely regarded as the better option

Had open neck on the P1 and the MY98 and they both had overboost problems. Took a lot of fiddleing to get the MY98 right I had one restrictor for summer and another for winter. Still got caught out now and then across exmoor being high ground and much cooler. The P1 was never sorted sold it after a month with the catless exhaust.

Can be a bit of a problem as Bob has stated The P1's are notorious for having the probs with boost when fully decatted - but I think its the Prodrive Remap thats the main concern Although some people do decat PPP's /P1's and have no problems so its very much down to the individual cars

Please take a photo and post up and we'll have a looksey.
