Hi mate,

On tickover my oil pressure gauge reads 35 psi,

normal driving reads 80psi,

motorway (80mph+), sees it rise to 85-90psi (on the track, obviously!!)

looks like yours is pretty similar to mine : 8)
(oil temp gauge not in yet!!)

hope this helps,

Mickey.

When idling with my stock 98 WRX with oil temp at 80 degrees. My oil pressure is around 3 bars. When driving with the same oil temp, I get around 6.5 bars (measured with Defi oil temp and pressure meter). As the temperature increase (about 90-100) the pressure will drop to around 6 bars.

I would think that the oil pressure will vary between different type and grade of motor oils used or the different brand of meters. For example I notice a big diiference with the water temp with the stock and DEFI meter. There's about a 6 degrees difference.

Hopes this help
