quickshift

how would i know if i had a quickshift fitted?

The QUickshift I had in my prev scoob was a lot more clunky (in a good way) to the standard Impreza gear knob. Feels a lot more positive and the throw is shorter. The way for you would be to try another Impreza (standard spec) and see if you can feel the difference) 8)

i have quick shift in mine, by prodrive.

To be honest, the gear changes seem very close to each other.
but dont really notice too much difference with standard gear box.

The throw should be 20% shorter. As Nelson says the gearstick should be much more tighter and not a bit sloppy like STD.
