what type to use been told 2 different things
1.15w50w mobil 1
2 semi synthetic
what should i use

I always used Fully Synth in the scoob either Motul300V 15W50 or Silkolene ProS 10W/50

Will be using the same oil in the Evo

used mobil 1 15w50 meself but generally use silkolene 15w50 pro r though ive got a few mates who run theirs with semi synthetic without any problems.

got 8litres of mobil 1 15/50 it would be a shame to waste it i could do 2 oil changes with that and another 1.5litres

Mobil 1 is fine. 10w-50 is better than 15w-50 for cold start protection.

put in 15/50 today it will be in for only 3 months i'll get it changed again then to 10/50 mobil 1 thanks m8

Mobil don't do a 10w-50, you need to look at Silkolene for this.

i run the Castrol RS 10w/60

but then again, my WRX is put to the limit every time i start em up !
