revs stay high when changing gear????

revs stay high when changing gear????

as thread says when i depress clutch for about half a sec the revs stay high , so if i try to change gear fast , i ride the clutch?????????????, anybody else had this problem, know what im talking about????????

Dont really understand what your trying to say do you mean the clutch is slipping? test it by shifting to a higher gear and if the revs rise and the speed dont increase in your car its the clutch slipping, how far does the clutch pedal come out before the clutch bites is it nearly at the top of clutch pedal?
