Shock Absorbers - Classic ????????????

Hi

What does any one recommend as replacement shocks on Classic MY98 ?

KYB's have been mentioned on other sites ?? If so Camskill are offering these for 218 for full set ! Not adjustable though !

Also what life expectancy / mileage is average on original shocks ???

I'm on 57000 approx & think maybe its time to change dampers. Incidentally i have Eibachs lowering springs fitted.

ANY ADVICE / HELP WELCOMED !

Cheers

I fitted the KYB's to a mates classic with eibachs and he's well chuffed.

iirc they are standard fitment but I stand to be corrected.

A mates got spax-35mm springs on his 99 classic and handling/comfort is spot on i reckon on std shocks, ive got koni sportkit on mine(top adjustable inserts allround)-means cuttin ur std struts above spring seat empty all the gubbins(technical term lol)drill bottoms of struts slide inserts in and bolt in through said hole in base of strut he he was an interesting job lol-it is quite a harsh ride though even when set on as soft as the dampers go, tho i were after that, and also didnt want loads of travel coz its lowered approx 45mm on 18s
