Dont know if this may help at all.
I bought some new ones for a previous car years ago, the guy lined the dashmounted led up with the led on on the fob and away to go!
If you can unlock the car with the key and get in it may work?
if not best contact an alarm dealers

I had the same problem with a cobra alarm i had on an FTO once. Would'nt let me in the car for about 20 minutes once. happend a couple of times but fine the rest of the time.
never did get to the bottom of the fault but i would be interested to know. I was thinking of having one fitted to my wrx but may think twice now :?

righy guy's, first thing i probably posted this
thread on the wrong section, but thats another
matter. anyway i have sorted the alarm fob
problem, spoke to a guy in uplands car radios
and alarms today, you have to replace the battery
in the fob, point it at the car and hold both buttons
down at the same time for 10 to 20 seconds
until the red l.e.d. starts to flash, then press the large
button on the left once, then again, and it should
recode the alarm fob, have now done both of mine
it took to attempts on the fist one though,
THANKS TO UPLANDS car radios and alarms
north road cardiff, thanks for yourhelp also guys.
cheers ,flopsy.
