Hi everyone

Just had a major expense three weeks into ownership. The clutch just started to slip overnight. I've had it fixed now only cost 335 for a standard genuine clutch from a clutch and brake specialist in Bournemouth. Question is this. He tell me he replaced a bearing in the flywheel(not the thrust bearing which was done too) Is there a support bearingin the flywheel for the gearbox shaft?

Yes there is, its the nose bearing that the first motion shaft runs in. Its in the centre of the flywheel. Hope this clears it up.
