Hi lou, no you wont need too.

As you are only undoing the nuts on the top of the struts and not moving the car in anyway.

Its a piece of cake to do too, no more than 10 mins

Been doing some surfing on e-bay and found this one:

Hi lou, ebay, dangerous place, gets adictive!

Looks ok, made in steel and for your model, and a good price too.

just looking at demon tweeks catalogue, they have them for 65.99 for the T2, they have the T2 listed for 93-99 only,

yours is a 2000?

The T3 is 79.99
The one on ebay is the T3 listed for 93-99 with standard intercooler ( demon tweeks), can I suggest you give the seller a ring tomorrow and check for fitment? there phone number is on the link

Just fitted my front strut brace and I'm really pleased with the difference its made and it looks cool under the bonnet 8)

Apart from dropping one of the nuts into the engine (no I don't mean Buzz) and taking 10 mins to retrieve it, the whole process was a piece of cake
