could be the cam sensor (which may have also been part of your miss-fire issue in your other thread along with the cracked coil).

check if the ECU spits any fault codes:

Cant remember your first problems look out for the small common problems
Plugs are they gapped right how old are they?
Are they any codes?
Long shot but is the air filter very dirty? will be harder to start
How old the fuel filter might be very dirty?

Re: 95 wrx! intermitting hot start problem!!??

I have a 97 gt GC8 (wrx in some countries).
Have done major work on it, changed timing belt, battery, crank and cam sensors, new sparkplugs, wires etc even tried different coil, but still have the same problem: IT FAILS TO START after using it for a while, won't fail in the morning, wont fail after long hours of not driving (say from 9am to 6pm office day) but i drive it 2 hours and after 1 -3 hours of no use it won't start, it will take like 30 minutes or so to get it to start.
Fuel seems ok (i can smell it)

Any help will be more than appreciated.
