mm, tbh sounds liek you need to get it to secialist to have a look see, you could spend hundreds chasing it round the engine bay and get nowhere

its not my car hun, mines fine, the poor guy is going mental with it, he has had it to a srecialist and had an in depth scan done everything is perfect on it but its still jolting him through the window at 4k revs and the scan is only bringing up maf sensor?
to replace this is gonna cost him 340 quid so he wants to be sure before he changes it, if you get wot i am saying

Test the MAF sensor. When the engine is up to normal operating temperature unplug the MAF sensor. If the engine "dies" the sensor is fine if it dont then the MAF is faulty.

if your lucky you could tray and find a specialist who has used but working one sat on a shelf to test to see if it works or not. then if sorts it put a new one on.

other option is get it ona dyno and plug in to find out if it the maf or if its somethign else triggerign the fault code
