Sorry for not replying sooner

OK the things you could go for

1) Front Strut Brace
2) Exhaust (depending on what the STi has fitted)
3) Intercooler (you do however have a different intercooler layout so this might not be so easy)
4) Interior - You could go for the STi seats and Door Cards also the centre console is in Graphite which might enhance your UK
5) Air Filter - if its an uprated one - open the airbox and have a look
6) have a look underneath the car - look for uprated bushes, anti roll bar etc.
7) you could remove the entire front bumper spots etc to give yours the full face lift
8) the STi's also have lightweight Bonnets (aluminium) but this along with the bumper would need spraying

As a side note if you find the intercooler layout is different then can you tell your mate that I may well be interested in the intercooler as I have a MY00 and the MY99/00 are the same fitment.

Very true Neil i had forgotten but the standard 4 pot setup isn't IMHO that great - I mean I had Group N discs and Pagid Fast road pads fitted to my prev WRX and it stopped I would say as well as my current setup. Although the EBC discs I have now have made a world of difference
