Gear selection in the morning!

When the cars cold in the morning i find it dificult to select gears mainly 1st and 2nd.
as soon as the cars warmed up its fine.

is this a comen problem with scoobs.

im not 2 worried about it as its only happens briefly, was just wondering what others thoughts are on this.

Andrew - mine is very similar in so far that its not difficult to select lower gears but they aren't that smooth, when the car is very cold. However both my Scoobs have done this to a certain extent. I did however change the Drivetrain fluid out for Castrol Syntrax at the last major service and this seems to have helped a bit Have you changed your gearbox oil etc recently ??
