New tyres

Do people still run-in thier rubber, these techno days we live in.

Can anyone advise :?

From what I was told you do still need to scrub them in as the surface of the rubber has the releasing agent on it from the mould.... I took it easy for about a mile :wink: No, 50 miles really

Ditto what pete says, the releasing agent will make you think you are on a skid pan :shock:

Alway stake it steady on new rubbers to start with, then make the strokes harder and faster! (or is that a different rubber?)
