Exclamation Hi folks. New wrx owner.

Hello Guys & gals,

I have just joined your site today, already pretty impressed with all the posts i have seen, looks like there are some seriously knowledgable people on here.

Recently bought a 95" plate N-reg, 4-door, WRX from my pal. Full years MOT and only a mild 44k miles on the clocks with a new clutch fitted also, really solid shell and engine so i am going to modify slightly to just get the very best from her.

Story so far....

So far the car only has 3.5" stainless cat back system, HKS dump valve and nothing else done to it. I have just bought new set of grooved & vented disc all rounds, pads to go with a some stainless brake hoses also. Then i managed to get my hands on some 16" speedline, 6 spoke gold magnesium rims.

Next up in november i am going for a some adjustable dampers and new spring set up. Can anyone give me some ideas about the best kinds out there for my car??????
I dont want to pay mental prices but obviously im not going to be buying bargain equipment.

After i have made sure she goes round the corners properly & stops better than standard i want to increase power to safe figures possibly 280 - 300bhp no more. At current i havent confirmed engine codes but it will be either 240 or 260BHP in standard guise. So can anybody give me some pointers to the best direction please??

Again fantastic site and hope to hear from people soon.

Thanks Hunter4130

Re: Hi folks. New wrx owner.

welcome to the site

personal choice would be kyb shocks and eibach lowering springs

as far as more power goes prob worth looking at remaps
