help loss of compression and a non starter

bear with me im not a mechanic or out,i got a 2ltr turbo awd on a w reg that overheated terrificlybroke down on the m6 yesterdaythe engine is turning the chap said so it hasnt ceased,the rads gone leaking like a tapno water or oil in it when checked this morning

anyone with a bit of knowledge got any ideas??

engines fubar'd basicly

sounds like headgasket has gone and if its overheated that badly then prob done other damage as well

thats what we feared does anyone know of anywhere to get a good replacement engine?

personaly i'd get it rebuilt if you can afford to, second hand engines are just that and you never know exactly the history of it

depending on build probably, however you know what your getting.

will also depend on what can be salvaged from your existing engine
