Mintex Pads

Alright Guys
Any one use the Mintex pads and what are they like want to try to find out for a fella what kind of range of pads do they do and he be driving the car for fast road use and track day once a year are they hard on the disc? do they create loads of dust? and are they sqeeky? any info be great thanks

Haven't used mintex pads myself but other members on this site have. They reckon mintex 1155`s create loads of dust and squeal.

Hi Darren and Pete

They work very well from cold, but do produce fair bit of dust... leave any shims off and put up with squeel... the shims trap hot gasses and impare performance... but they will sound worn out from new

Hope this helps, sure others here have used them... and the above is only my view...

ive used mintex a few times now and find them very good, the only downside to them i found was a lot of brake dust comes off them

had 1155's on mine and tbh i thought they were crap

cooked them within 2 weeks of having them.

Are they suppose to be the trackday pad Tidgy you would think they would last longer?

yeah mate suposedly, admitedly i was on the isle of man, and later on int he day i blew up the gearbox,,,,, lol

i was using the gearbox more for engine braking lol, and where it went there isn;'t any need to brake, its a flat out climb lol
