tuning the computer

any tips on unblocking the speed and tuning the cars computer on a wrx 2009?

see if i can get a couple extra horses or any performance what so ever by that tunning?

do you mean de-resticting from 112? if so try this link 1996 wrx restriction

its not something you can do yourself,unless you have the software and the knowledge,also i take it your not botherd about voiding your dealler warrenty??

no.. i dont realy mind the waranty... cause pretty much anything ill add or change will void some part of the waranty, if not all of it... so......

i'll just tune it and be carefull about it. lol

first steps then is to start with a cold air feed, decat and remap. you can normally get them all, fitted and mapped as a package which makes it cheaper then doing the seperatly.

sorry, i just automatically thought you were in the UK(how small minded of me). I have heard of ECU mappers trvelling to foriegn parts to map cars, but i'm not sure about your destination i personally really would not mess with ECU unless you wre qualified to. i'm not tuned up on the latest impreza models, but am sure that you should start with changing the exhaust system and by getting a system without any catalytic convertors in it.

mappers will travel indeed, tends to be pricey though so if you can have a bunch of cars wanting doing then it can reduce the cost
