0304 missfire on 4

hi all have had above code for few months on my 02 sti bugeye and had remap by simon at jgm.wen mapped ecu light was not on so never said nothing to him, since then cel light is on and off and now stays on,simon said most likely be nps switch on gearbox so had it changed and still come back after a day im so fed up with it now and wondered if it could be maf related, tried swapping coil over and it was still there, had new pfr7 plugs (was coming up with this code before new plugs and map)when i switched it off today with obd II scanner today i noticed revs dropping to almost nothing when at junction but picked up again to normal revs, took it round the block after got home and was normal, any advise would be appreciated.

best bet is to contact simon and tell him,he'll be able to pinpoint the problem with it,you should always tell your mapper of any problem you've encountered, covers your back as well as his..
Mapped by Enginetuner(Plymouth)..
