Front brake change HELP

Right, problem time, I have a 2.0 Sport and Ive taken the front brakes apart today to find putting the new pads in a nightmare, the one pot piston doesnt want to go all the way back in, HELP!

remove the caliper from the car,place the old pad in it and try n winde it back using a vice,tis the only option,other than a new caliper...

Thanks mate,

Fair enough, I have a caliper rewind tool, but that hasnt seemed to do anything and the piston is sticking 4mm roughly out of where it should be flush to allow the new pads to fit. Ill give that a go tomorrow as Ive got two weeks off

the rewind tool normally does it,but in you case i'd say vice is best,just hope the cylinder goes back in properly..lube it upon retrying,it should in theory slide back,maybe n idea to soak it for a while..

Remove the brake fluid cap and then try. That should do it but just remember to put it back on
