Creaking clasic?

I've noticed recently that my classic wagon realy creaks alot in general while driving, i dont know if its the shocks or something else, it also craeks when i'm stopped and i turn the steering wheel from left to right i know for a fact one of the cv joints is shafted but i'm not sure if its just that causing the horrible annoying noise? Any advice is greatly received, thanks Rich.

Re: Creaking clasic?

Could well be your springs. put your ear to the suspension while someone turns the steering wheel

Re: Creaking clasic?

sounds more like your strut tops bud, lube em up and tighten em up,should resolve the problem for a while
if not new ones will be needed..

Re: Creaking clasic?

the brace shouldn't really cause any problems bud,get yourself a silcion based lube, will last longer than say,WD40 or an equvalent..
