Changed plugs today

I changed the plugs on my 94 classic wagon (turbo) today but i was surprised that the leads i was supplied with for the car didn't relate to the current set up as the leads on mine were as if each plug had its own coil??? i know the guy i brought it off fitted a new engine but i'm confused about the plug/lead set up can someone shed some light on this for me please, cheers Rich.

Re: Changed plugs today

some of the models use individual coil packs on each plug others have a "normal" set up with the spark produced from a block box on top of the manifold that the leads connect to.

Re: Changed plugs today

'94 cars had individual coil packs for each cylinder. You'll need leads suitable for a WRXA-C (STi VI&II).

Late '96 cars on had the coil pack on top of the engine so those leads won't fit your car.
