Clutch / Radio EH?!

Took the car into garage this morning, clutch making rattling noise on pedal swap over..
Mechanic seperated clutch cables as they were rattling together (causing noise) now I can't pick up Radio One  coincidence?

Listened to it on the way there, nowt on way back
Any ideas? Gonna take radio out again tomorrow, wiggle a few cables

Any ideas........................um

in a word

NOPE

sorry TZ couldn't resist - ok serious head on now, could be that your aerial cable has been caught up with the clutch cable somewhere behind the Dash.....if it has then that is quite Bizarre mate. Thing is is it just Radio1 thats gone or all of the radio reception ?? It could also be that whilst they were playing around with the clutch cables it might have pulled ont he aerial connection to the back of your stereo causing you problems. Best option there is to do what you said and remove the head unit and take a look behind

It could be that the messing about has caused the aerial connection in the back of your head unit to become slightly unplugged. This might be enough for the radio to find National Radio stations dificult to receive ??

Is there any amplifiers or signal boosters floating around on the car? Just thinking the signal booster may be faulty???
