Question Mystery Switch!

Hi All,

I have a mystery switch... I think it might have something to do with the Toad Alarm I have fitted but not sure... not sure of the alarm model but it is a two button Toad alarm/immobiliser fitted when it was imported to the UK....

Its connected but doesn't seem to do anything, the "press-it-and-see" option has been exhausted! It also has what looks like a green LED on the switch but it doesn't light...

Please see attached pic....being that its also next to the Toad Alarm LED I think this might be linked but s0d knows otherwise....

Any ideas?! Otherwise I will just continue to ignore it!

Tom

Re: Mystery Switch!

Turn the lights on and then try it again. If your car is an import that will be your rear fog light. It's the same switch as mine !

Re: Mystery Switch!

Great, will check it out when I get home, I take it that they don't need a rear fog in Japan or that its not linked to the front fog light switch??? How odd....

Anywho thanks guys!

Don't have them here (could do with them sometimes though) only cars with rear fogs tend to be imports.

Re: Mystery Switch!

Mystery Solved!

It is indeed the rear fog light that is already converted to one of the reverse lights. I had not tried lights on / fogs on then try switch.... I just (wrongly) presumed it would be linked to the fog light switch but this only does the fronts....

If only all the little things were that easy to solve...
