Re: boost

it can be done, but its very risky. best bet get it mapped properly, will be more expensive, but will make sure you get safe and of course better results

Re: boost

thanks for that... i thought that would be the case... am in the process of buying everything i want for the car before i go get a remap...

i.e a bigger turbo td 05 induction ect ect.... i am basically wanting my wrx to be as fast as a moderatly tunned sti... got a cat back on just now about to put an decat pipe on it.. i will then get the decat from the turbo and the cel fix done

just a quick question.. i did the snorkus delete... and i think the stock bov is knackered... sound like when i am just on boost and cruisiing that it is leaking.... .. anyone else had this problem...if so i will replace with a bov... should i go vent to atmosphere recirc or 50/50.... to many people saying yes and no.... is atmospheric really going to harm things.......

Re: boost

as long as you get teh right valve for your car, theres no real difference between a recirc and a dump, power, performance or reliability. only difference is the sound, so depends on if you want the noise from the atmosphere dump aka the woosh, or want it quiet

Re: boost

i think a manual boost controller is a massive waste of money, just like a turbo timer.
