Rebedding the pads - sometimes more than once is a possible solution.

Re: Need Help with Brake judder

Is the brake caliper mounting bolts tight cause if they loose that will give you judder and make sure evertything good in tight that will rule that out as the problem, but if everything good in tight could be as Pete said they need bedding in when bedding in aswhile you will get a small bit of smoke under braking from new pads and discs but will go away, but give it about 50-100miles to bed in if they still judder after this get it checked out

Re: Need Help with Brake judder

Wrong direction of rotation on the "grooved" discs. Not sure if this would give judder.

Re: Need Help with Brake judder

Ya say it could be what Pete saying to the drilled and grooved discs should go with the direction of the wheel if you know what i mean they go against the direction then when your reversing but obviously you never go fast backwards enough to feel this judder id definetly check the discs they should be clearly marked LH AND RH for leftside and rightside that could be the problem......................

Re: Need Help with Brake judder

couldnt find any LH RH marks on discs, changed em round anyway n still same effect. put original discs back on and all working fine. when i removed new rear discs both had 3 symetrical 'wear' marks on the outsides think they may be slightly warped

Could be warped the back discs so like a heated score mark on the disc due to it warped and that a high point in disc in 1st pic, Or was it cracked like in the 2nd pic below all these symtoms will produce juddering especially at higher speed when you trying to slow down and will vibrate the steering wheel mad to under braking.........................
