my import brakes

ive found out today that my brakes on my bugeye import wrx are different from the uk model my fronts are only 2pots and the rear are soild not vented why would they do this i dont understand why fit lesser brakes.
so i was wondering where i could buy new discs and pads for it cause the only ones i can see for sale are for the uk model.
could my brakes be the same as the classic shape
or should i look into getting some 4pots from a breakers or something.
dont get me wrong the brakes are good but could always be better

Re: my import brakes

You could have the same 2 pot brakes as the bugeye 2001/2002 UK Impreza GX.

Re: my import brakes

I have the same issue on my imported 2001 sti sportwagon. Any recommendations where I can get me a full set of Brembo 4 pots and vented discs, or equivalent at a credit-crunching price??
Any help appreciated!!

Or Ebay, I was looking at some a little while ago, average price for front and rear Calibers and Discs was 350 400.
