clutch

the flexi hose that goes into the slave cylinder burst the other day, so i ordered a new one and got it fitted on saturday, the only thing is that its a bit of a shit to get bled up properly, the clutch works but the pedal doesnt come all the way out without you putting your foot under the pedal and lifting it, any ideas anyone?....jimmy

Re: clutch

mine does that after a good run and a lot of clutch use but thats because my slave cylinder sometimes sticks. Easy to fix by putting the car in neutral and dropping the clutch.

In your case though i would try bleeding the system again since it only started after you drained it. If a garage fitted the pipe then they should do this free of charge.

cheers guys, i did it myself. the pedal now comes all the way back out although it feels a little soft. i'll see how it goes and i might try giving it another bleed.
