Helicopter type noise at high speed

Hi Guys,

I'm a new member here, just bought the 2.0 GL estate, it's a mint car and i'm chuffed to bits with it (having previously owned a 206!!)

However when i'm driving at speeds of 40mph and above i get this noise which i think is coming from the diff as i cant hear is at any particular side, just sounds like it's coming from the boot - it's a strange noise and at high speeds almost sounds like a helicopter!!

Does this sound familliar to anyone???

Thanks in advance
