Cheap maf sensors

Hi all

Been having probs with maf sensor and was a bit shocked at the price from subaru for a new 1, so searched the net as ya do and came across these guys
electronic car spares and parts for all makes of cars, ABS, ECU, Airflow : Autotek Electronics put my part number in and came up 125 have any of you guys had anything from these ? and are they ok

its better to look for genuine second hand parts rather than to go for after market parts or unknown brands. They can do more harm than solve problems

hard to say but do you want to be the guinea pig?? as mentioned could cost you in the long run! to be honest some things are are pathetic prices but i wouldnt buy cheap stuff as i once put cheap tyres on a jag woops bang lampost end of etc bosses pride and joy.

MAF mass airflow sensor conversion

hi i was talking to the local impreza specialist about getting a front mount intercooler and new ecu on my 98 sti type r he said to me i would also need to fit an induction kit and we would do away with the MAF

could anybody tell me what i wud need to use in replacement of the mass airflow sensor and where i would be able to get 1 from??

any advice would really be appreciated
