ppp fitted or not?

Hi, Im new to subaru. Had my first for 2 weeks now, its a 2002 wrx sti type uk prodrive. It actually says this on the log book. Ive had a look under my car and it has a performance rear exhaust box fitted and it has a race cat fitted on the down pipe section. Both are a lot wider bore than the standard exhaust, I havent looked at the ecu (not sure where it is) but I think it has the prodrive up grade fitted. But have no proof as I do not have a certificate. Can any one tell me how I can tell?

Dont know how to tell if your ecu is a prodrive one or not but you will find it in the front passenger foot well

Need to read the map via Diagnostics socket to tell.

As far as I know the car needs to be connected up and have the ecu read to tell what settings are programmed into the ecu.

At least that's what I was told when I had the same dilema.

Do your silicon hoses under the bonnet have Pro-Drive printed on them too?

The prodrive performance pack (ppp) is fitted after the car has been registered usually after the car has done at least 1000 miles, so a car fitted with ppp will not show this on its log book, subaru made a prodrive style version which is what you have, if it says prodrive on your log book it refers to prodrive style and not ppp. hope this helps.

Blue ones are faster.
