4 pot brakes

well peed off, have a 95 sti 555, wanted 4 pots on it. asked around , yeah they will fit if you have 16" wheels! WRONG!!!! have the original sti 16"s on it but the spokes hit the calipers, not impressed

If its not catching by much maybe you`ll get by with a small wheelspacer unless its the height/length of the caliper thats an issue ie its catching at the top/bottom on the inside of the alloy but cant see that happening as they aint that long.Is very strange as mine came with 16in wheels an 4pots think all uk turbo`s did 98 onwards(dont quote me)

its the part that holds the pistons thats catching the spokes, might try spacers, long as they wont cause damage, cant afford new wheels yet sob

I would its worth a go if it aint catching by much though remember if the spacer needs to be quite thick you`ll need longer studs-i cant remember how much scope uve got with the amount of threads free for the nut on a std scooby wheel.

only the later style STi 16" wheels will clear the std SUBARU 4pots as the early ones spoke design was based on the original 2pot brakes (factory option when the cars had 15" std)
