Different profile tyres front and back damage diff?

I've just some yokohoma parada's on the front of my impreza. They are a 40 profile compared to the existing tyres which are a 45 profile and are still on the rear. Do you guys think i'll be ok running like this short term and not damage the diff having a diferent radius ?

i used to own a jeep and was always told by jeep forums and a friend who was a mechanic that you should always replace all of the tyres with the identical type front and rear on 4 wheel drive to protect the diffs and preferably all together costs a packet i know but as it happened the tyres give or take a thousand miles or so had pretty much worn out at the same time.....
