Using water spray is down to when you are going to go for it and think a little extra under the right foot is in order. It is best used if you have been sitting in traffic and are heading out onto the open road. heat soak from the turbo will have heated the intercooler up so a few sprays while blasting along the road will cool it quicker. you cant use it to much as its just a spray of water onto the outside of the intercooler

so does that mean it isnt sprayed into the induction side of the intercooler and doesnt mix with the air fuel

Its sprayed across all of it as far as i know-ya can get aftermarket spraybars an nozzles etc should anyone reading this want one there are kits available with pump/waterbottle etc,I think youre getting confused with water injection (see link)http://www.aquamist.co.uk/ Basically a mist of water across the intercooler is more effective at cooling than air on its own hence the waterspray, not so sure its an essential item to be honest but does help.

Goin back to induction or not does the water get pulled into the engine? I was thinkin of of puttin IPA(alcohol) in the water tank to clear the nozzles as the previous owner just stuck tap water in.

It doesn't get into the engine and isn't involved directly in the induction process at all. It is sprayed onto the top (fins) of the intercooler from above (from the scoop i believe) and cools the air going through the intercooler.

Overuse/extended use of the spray shouldn't cause any problems.
