Octane Booster

I was wondering if anybody could help I have an import and have read that it is wise to run on octane booster to stop det, Can anyone tell me the best OB to use and what amounts to add.

I have been using fuchs pro boost and adding the advised amounts printed on the back but this seems a very expensive choice as im using a bottle a fortnight.

I always keep some Millers OB in the car, there is some poor quallity V Power around causing det on mapped cars. normally a bottle of Millers per tank full should sort it.

Had a look on ebay and millers cvl OB claims to take optimax up to 101/102 octane, where is cheap to buy this or is ebay reasonably priced 7.99 and 2.99 postage for one tank treatment
