Problems after new ECU

Hey all!

Just got my WRX Impreza back today, it's been away for a new ECU and a Blitz Nur Spec 2 exhaust.

All is fine as I start to drive it home tonight (other than the exhaust being about 10 times louder than I was expecting) till I get to the first roundabout. Normally this car sticks like glue to the road surface when it corners, even when its wet, not tonight tho. Drove onto roundabout (and NOT at any great speed) and almost spun the car, cornering it was like driving on a sheet of ice! Checked the road surface and there was no oil or anything on it, just a bit of wet tarmac I've driven over hundreds of times before. Was very cautious at next roundabout, but same thing happens again (and I really took this one slow) Something is clearly not right.

So, my question is, does the car's ECU deal in any way with traction control and have the guys at the garage missed this - I might as well have been driving on a bit of polished glass! Any ideas much appreciated - I don't want a car that tries to kill me on every single bend!

Cheers!

I don`t think so mate, have you had new suspension too? Maybe you`re going into the roundabouts a lot faster than you think

Nope, not had anything done to car other than new ECU & exhaust, that was the only reason I was wondering
