Cool Pedal Vibration low RPM

I have a manual 93 Impreza with 150k. In 1st and especially second gears at about 2-3k RPM I can feel a vibration in the gas pedal accompanied by a loss of acceleration. I can also feel it through the shifter knob. The engine continues to rev. just fine but it almost feels like the front end is wobbling a bit. This is not an issue at high speeds. My engine mounts look good, and I have brand new axels and CV joint. I don't know much about clutches, but the clutch pedal needs to be almost fully depressed to catch. Could this have something to do with the problem?
