Hi thanks for the welcome, Iím currently driving an 97 Impreza 2.0 Sport GL, but Iíve got a bit of a problem with the front passenger wheel getting really hot I suspect itís a problem with the hill helper sticking on, is there a way to disconnect the hill helper system? Sorry if this should appear in the technical section.

All the best THCCS

Well both, normally the wheel is so hot I wouldnít want to try touching the hub, but Iím almost certain the heat is coming from the disk through the hub and then onto the wheel. Maybe it is a seized calliper but I did have that off at the weekend and managed to push the piston back enough to get the calliper off and on again.

I thought that too but there’s no play or wobble in it.

yeah if the bearings going then might be just the friction , think you need to get a garage to have a look at it mate
