Knocking Rear End

I HAVE AN 03 STI I HAD THE REAR TOP MOUNTS DONE AT THE BACK BECAUSE OF CLONKING NOISE OK FOR 6 MONTHS BUT NOW IT HAS RETURNED ,WOULD THE NOISE GO IF I CHANGED THE REAR SHOCKS ANY HELP APPRECIATED

Try putting white Lithium grease on the antiroll bar mounting rubbers ? These have been known to cause rear end noises..

This clonkiing/knocking noise seems to be a common problem with the newage STi

yep, tis a known fault and subaru will replace them under warrenty

balls, tbh your prob best of putting on replacment shocks if you can afford to.

can fit a weekend warrioir pack, which is kyb shocks, eibach lowering springs and i think rear anti roll bar. will sort the nocking and make a huge difference to how the car handels
