Warning To All Bugeye Owners !!!!!!

ok the other day went to work and my mate showed up with his ppp bugeye window had jamed so we took off the door card and discoverd the bolts that hold the wondow motor had come out and the ones that had stayed in had ripped the metal that it was attatch to.

i thought this was a one off but just to be sure today took off my door cards on all doors to check the bolts ALL LOOSE !!!!! and one had already been welded. If this had just happened to one car fine but to find it on two not so good

Just a heads up to everyone might be worth a look am glad i did the drivers door window motor out four blots three were only on by a couple of threads.

Just been all round the whole car, I was lucky it was just the drivers door, One bold fallen out other three were loose and making the holes into slots. If anyone hasnt yet done it I recommend it. Only needed a philips screwdriver and a small flat and a filler knife for getting the clips out ( saves marking you door cards ) 10mm spanner or socket and I used red lock thread just so it doesnt do it again
Thanks Gordo996 for bringing this up

sorry havent posted in a while pc has been a bit temperamental

Ur welcome wayne looks like u were lucky

Must stress this to all bug eye owners check these bolts. My mate has had to have some welding in the door just so they can remount the window motor
not so good when it only takes 2 mins to take the door card of and just check the window motor is secure. If anyone needs a help finding the bolts i can post pics pm me and il will put them

This sems to be more of an issue than i first thought now three cars with same fault
