car hesitates

hi

not got my 2002wrx yet but if they can sort the problem out then i will buy it.
car has got the pro drive pack fitted but dealer does not know what one.
anyway he gave me some rubbish that its meant to be like that.
i mean when you pull away and floor it ,it hesitates, jerks.
he said that if you feather the throttle it ok but to me thats not right.
he said the work was done by power engineering company by the previous owner.

any ideas lads

Power engineering is a well respected place so i wouldnt rule it out just yet

http://www.powerengineering.co.uk/acatalog/home.htm

could be boost solenoid related i guess had simular problems with mine a while bk took it off cleaned it out with some fast drying precision cleaner put bk on an sorted it-"may"also be maf related , however car really wants going to a dealer/specialist as ya could guess forever really- could also be another sensor on its way out-have they checked to see if its giving a fault code???if it aint got check engine light on disconnect battery leave disconnected a few minutes and reconnect its sometimes enough to give ecu a kick up the arse to produce one. If ya dont get the light coming on still try an ecu reset either do a search on here or pete will give ya the link hope that helps but like i say imprezas are temperemental could be one small thing could be several.
