help needed

hi i have a 1996 scooby wrx import,whenever i put my foot down the car jerks as if it wants to go but cant, does anyone know what problem might be.

sounds like overboost, does it only do it when you go on full throttle?

yes m8,when you put foot flat to floor or accelerate hard it does it.

yes m8,a friend of mine thinks it might be spark plugs,when the boost comes in its blowing the spark out.

might be an idea to check the piping to the boost regulator. mine popped the pipe off the regulator and hey presto, instant overboost.

went like a bullet up to 4000 revs but felt like hittin a brick wall when it got there
