rear diff ?????

well hello on this fine rainy sunday , i was wonderin i have been constantly annoyed by a strange quiet but distinctive whine from my gearbox or so i thought after checkin the oil an topping up with the recommended oil it still persists now after trawling countless sites an problems i learn there is a rear diff that needs filling is this true an how is it done ???? eg position of filling point an accsess

Hi mate theres 2 bungs if ya like on the diff casing on bk end top ones to top up bottom one to drain its that easy think i managed to undo it with a ratchet straight onto them as theyre a square hole ie

thanks what fluid is it same as gear box got some comma gearbox fluid 75-90 i think ????

Pete just to clarify that applies to most cars but the type-R's and other models with plated rear LSD's need something like the Millers CRX80w90LS specific oil..............
