I think you need to remove the rear seat to do the rear strut brace.....

Mate its easy trust me done my classic an scotts bugeye bear in mind depending on the strut brace you may need to file some metal away where the ends poke through into the boot from where the strut tops/ends of strut brace are, think hardest part were the back nut on the strut top as theyre aint much space but still aint what i`d call bad-seats out in about 5mins/undo strut tops, put ends of brace on chuck middle bit in but dont adjust till ends are tight on strut tops-throw seat bk in-sorted.

cool mate, honestly the seat comes out easy 2bolts on the front of the base section theres a bar under the rear of the base of seat just drops behind like a hook so basically undo the 2 front bolts on the base of the rear seat lift the front and push bk about an inch an the whole base comes out then think theres 3 bolts to undo along the base of the back of the rear seat then push the headreast bit of the bk seat back towards the rear window and then up at the same time-(a bar runs along the rear of the top of the seat back and drops in under a slot each side roughly where the headrests are) once bks out will be able to see strut tops-depends on the individual strut brace as to wether you may need to remove the rear seat belt rollers to gain access to one of the strut top nuts-on my classic though didnt need to.

Got front and rear had 2 fronts before on previous cars-if im honest never noticed the difference on any of em and besides theres too much room for flex in other directions on the brace to be noticeable-no doubt it helps a bit but would need more support to the body really-were quite impressed on a birds starlet turbo i saw the other day rear strut brace(std equipment)went straight across aswell as down to the boot floor across and bolted to boot floor in the centre and bk up to other strut top-thought fook me that looks proper

Thats cool, and more like the sort of thing you`d get a noticeable difference from..........maybe but any kinda strengthening/stiffening of the chassis is no bad thing.
